mærkelige indrykniger ved paste

Hej,

Jeg har problemer med at paste tekst gennem en ssh client fra min win2k box
og til vi/vim.
Hvis jeg fx har noget kode som fx:
--
function getDirContents($slashdir) {
    $dh = opendir($slashdir);

    while (($file = readdir ($dh))) {
        if (is_dir($slashdir . $file) && $file != "." && $file != "..") {
            getDirContents ($slashdir . $file . "/");
        } else if ($file != "." && $file != "..") {
            echo $file . "<br>";
        }
    }
    closedir($dh);
}

--

så kommer det til at se sådan ud i vim:
--
 function getDirContents($slashdir) {
     $dh = opendir($slashdir);

         while (($file = readdir ($dh))) {
                 if (is_dir($slashdir . $file) && $file != "." && $file !=
"..") {
                             getDirContents ($slashdir . $file . "/");
                                     } else if ($file != "." && $file !=
"..") {
                                                 echo $file . "<br>";
                                                         }
                                                             }

closedir($dh);
                                                                 }

--
Hvorfor gør den det?
Kan det forhindres?

--
Med venlig hilsen
Thomas
