Hvorfor gøre noget der *er* simpelt besværligt?
/usr/bin/vi er simpelthen et softlink til enten elvis eller vim,
så:
ln -sf /usr/bin/elvis /usr/bin/vi
som root (!) gør det, som det oprindeligt var tænkt!
