Jeg forstod på det oprindelige oplæg at formålet var at skrive i passwd filer.

Hvis man ønsker at benytte PAM, kan man vel benytte modulet Authen::PAM. Jeg
har dog ikke selv prøvet dette - og ved faktisk ikke om man kan skifte passwd
med det, men det lydder mere som vejen frem.
