Det har jeg aldrig hørt om. Det står ikke i min named(8).

Se efter i messages når du har restartet named om den loader
dit domaine. Den skriver faktisk pænt i sysloggen, /var/log/messages.

Allerførst finder du ud af hvordan din gethostbyname
fungerer, enten du nu bruger nslookup eller host:

nslookup soegefter.tld.  server.domain.tld.

TLD er forkortelse for top level domain. Top level domain
er det, der står til sidst. På dit interne domain er "kok"
top level domain, og du må gerne spørge efter kok.

Det gør ikke den store forskel men kan speede lidt op når
der i øvrigt er mulighed for misforståelser.

Punktum til sidst i domain navnet bevirker nemlig at 
gethostbyname (BIND-klienten) ikke selv prøver at klistre
"search" domainet på sidst.

Så i resolv.conf skal der også stå "kok." og ikke bare "kok"
- blot for at spare nogle millisekunder.
