[Apache] Blande PHP-filer og statiske HTML-filer?



Jeg prøver at få Apache til at håndtere en blanding af PHP-filer og statiske HTML-filer. Sagen er at jeg gerne vil kunne have "index.da.html" og "index.en.php" liggende i samme katalog, sådan at "index.da.html" bliver udleveret til dem der foretrækker dansk for engelsk og "index.en.php" bliver udført for dem der foretrækker engelsk for dansk.

Det er ikke helt ligetil. Med min nogenlunde uændrede Apache-opsætning får alle der kender til dansk "index.da.html", uanset om de foretrækker engelsk eller ej. Hvordan kan jeg få Apache til at ligestille HTML-filer og PHP-filer?

Er det værd at bekymre sig om at undgå at lade statiske HTML-filer få en tur igennem PHP-fortolkeren? Min webserver kører på en 266 MHz Soekris, så den har ikke overdrevent mange kræfter. Hvis forskellen er ubetydelig er det måske lettere at lade de statiske HTML-filer se ud som PHP-filer.
