Det giver heller ikke umiddelbart mening for mig.

Det er korrekt.

Hvis du vil lave en hurtig fix af problemet kan du tilføje www.canon.dk
i din /etc/hosts og så sikre dig at din /etc/nsswitch.conf er sat op til
at checke ved dine filer før den bruger DNS.
Derved finder man jo så desværre ikke ud af, hvad det er der går galt.
