Visuel fremstilling af "alt det" mellem bruger og hardware



Hej NG
Er der en blandt Jer, der kender en rigtig god pædagoisk korrekt (læs: med enkle ord og i farver) model af hvad der sker mellem en PC-bruger og PC'en selv?


Jeg så for nyligt en model af et (Linux) system, der kører en grafisk applikation, hvor der var delt i lag med Hardware som nederste blok og brugeren som "top-sten"; frit fra hukomelsen:

Bruger
Grafisk applikation
Window maker
X-Window
Kernel
Hardware

Jeg mener dog denne model er lidt "tyndbenet", da jeg f.eks. ikke kan se hvor device-drivere ligger i "kæden".
Jeg så meget gerne en generisk model, så man udfra den kan fremhæve og/eller understrege forskelle mellem forskellige systemer; Linux, UNIX, BSD, MacOS, Windows osv.
