Open Source-definitionen stiller i afsnit 2 krav til hvad der
betragtes som source code:

  The source code must be the preferred form in which a programmer
  would modify the program. Deliberately obfuscated source code is not
  allowed. Intermediate forms such as the output of a preprocessor or
  translator are not allowed.

GPL definerer i afsnit 3 hvad source code er:

  The source code for a work means the preferred form of the work for
  making modifications to it.  For an executable work, complete source
  code means all the source code for all modules it contains, plus any
  associated interface definition files, plus the scripts used to
  control compilation and installation of the executable.


Jeg synes at de to tekster er ret kompatible med hinanden, muligvis er
GPL's definition lidt løsere men det er der ikke noget i vejen med i
forhold til OSI-definitionen.
