man X   og gå til "display names"
Generelt har man når man logger ind via en X server et display navn
maskine:0.0
Der findes varianter med f.eks. flere X servere kørende så du ligesom
ved de virtuelle terminalvinduer (alt-f1, alt-f2...) kan have flere X
skærme.

Husk du kan ikke bare kaste et vindue til en vilkårlig maskine - du skal
på maskinen give tilladelse til at bruge X fra en anden maskine.

Hvis du f.eks. sidder på maskinen "arbejde" og vil vise et vindue på en
maskine der hedder "hjemme" så er en mulighed (den letteste og desværre
også temmeligt usikre) at den der sidder på den grafiske del i "hjemme"
skriver "xhost +arbejde"
Du kan så kaste et vindue til "hjemme" fra "arbejde" typisk ved at
skrive M-x make-frame-on-display <enter> hjemme:0.0 <enter>
En mere avanceret måde et at bruge xauth men der bliver det en smule
mere komplex.

Jeg håber det giver dig en lille ide om hvordan det skrives.
