Således det ikke er afhængig af root installation af kerne moduler. Jeg
vil også helst slippe for den øgede kompleksitet af server/klient
opbygningen.
Et eksempel er f.eks. (lib)gphoto2's måde at håndtere enheder på ved
selv at være device driver og klientprogram i et.

Jeg har været forbi den guide flere gange - af en eller anden årsag
giver den mig hovedpine hver gang (min formodning er at jeg har
brug for noget længere nede på "kravlegårds" niveau).

Jeg fortsætter min søgen, og vil så fortsætte med at læse bogen "USB
Design by Example" (som dog desværre henvender sig til MS brugere med
hensyn til programmering).
