Det ved jeg nu ikke helt. Hvis man er vant til en oversætter der tillader sloppy K&R-C og pludselig skifter til en der meget strikt overholder C99, så kan man godt få den opfattelse at det er oversætterens skyld at man pludselig har problemer.



Nu har jeg tilfædigvis Visual C++ 6.0 installeret, så jeg prøvede lige. Fik denne warning:

c:\program files\microsoft visual studio\myprojects\tester\main.c(5) : warning C4098: 'main' : 'void' function returning a value

Desuden er det min opfattelse at C-kode skrevet alene til Windows
meget hellere bruger Win32-API'et end C Standard library. Jeg kender
ikke noget til Windows og aner intet om Win32-API'et andet end jeg har
småkikket lidt i win32-specifik kode for portable projekter.


Det er jo op til brugeren om han vil bruge de API'er eller ej. Der er ingen tvang, så det afhænger jo af hvordan folk kommer igang med deres programmering.
