Altså, jeg er ikke den store haj til c++, men, jeg mener at hvis du 
inkluderer 
<map.h>
så åbner du hele std namespacet, hvorimod det er lukket hvis du inkluderer
<map>

Det er vist noget med at være bagud kompatibel.

Disclaimer: Jeg kan tale ud af min r.. her - jeg får hovedpine hver gang 
jeg forsøger at finde ud af hvordan C++ fungerer.

Hvis du differ to filer, f.eks. diff -u /usr/include/g++-3/map{,.h}
vil du se at en afgørende forskel er noget namespace helvedes noget.

Man kan jo nemt komme til at have en .h liggende fra gamle dage i et ældre 
projekt.
