Nu er det under cygwin's bash det bliver kørt, så det burde være en
rigtig pipe... Det kan jeg selvfølgelig ikke være sikker på, men alt
andet ville være underligt. Windows understøtter trods alt unnamed
pipes.

(Er der forøvrigt nogen der ved om tmp-fil tricket også bliver brugt i
cmd under NT/2000? Det gør under Win9X, men NT har trods alt en smule
arv med fra OS/2 og andre mere rimelige operativsystemer.).

Jeg vil skyde på at cygwin1.dll er LGPL'et så det er ikke noget problem
at distribuere den med. Det er bare et spørgsmål om man har lyst til
det. Derudover har RH ikke nogen planer om at frigive en til stable
CD-version af cygwin (hvilket ellers er gjort 2 gange tidligere), så
spørgsmålet er om man kan købe sig til en anden licens på det?
