I "C++" *skal* cin.rdbuf()->in_avail() returnere ikke-null (vel at mærke 
uden at blokere) hvis en bruger har trykket på en tast.

Jeg skriver desværre *skal* da in_avail() langtfra er implementeret 
korrekt på de fleste implementationer.


Jeg har selv implementeret ovenstående ikke-kanoniskt i C men det er snart 
5 år tilbage og med helt andre biblioteker end i dag så det bør ikke være 
mig der giver dig løsningen per C;-)
