Det havde jeg også tænkt mig at skrive igår, men manualsiderne for
gcc og ld sagde noget andet:

man gcc:
       					For the link  stage,  all
       .o  files  corresponding  to  source  files, -l libraries,
       unrecognized filenames (including named  .o  object  files
       and  .a archives) are passed to the linker in command-line
       order.

man ld:
       The command-line options to ld may be specified in any or­
       der, and may be repeated at will.  For the most part,  re­
       peating  an  option  with a different argument will either
       have no further  effect,  or  override  prior  occurrences
       (those  further to the left on the command line) of an op­
       tion.

Du har ret.
Men hvad har du at have det i?

Måske opfatter linkeren ikke -l som en option?
