Ikke nødvendigvis! Men det mener jeg gcc gør.

Nej!!! En int er ikke defineret til at være noget som helst, udover at 
16 bit <= sizeof(short) <= sizeof(int) <= 32 <= sizeof(long) [K&R78 s.

Under DOS/Windows er int af uransagelige grunde 16bit, mens den er 32
bit under de Unix'er jeg kender, også ved gcc (og DJGPP under DOS)
